Should I allow pets in a rental?

Even though carpets are professionally steam cleaned between tenants it is not unusual for someone who does not have a pet to walk in and comment about a pet odor (and this does not have to be from animal "accidents"; but simply from a pet living in the area.)Ironically I do animal rescue myself (cats and dogs) so no carpet in my house!

Anything before that and as others above mentioned.. just not motivated enough to spend all the time and energy on someone who is certain that their uncle ralph is going to come to the rescue.. they have to really understand that they are going to lose it on Friday and your door knocking on Monday... its a mad scramble but that's what set us apart.
