And Rule #3 is already a ruling that rent checks constitute "financing", therefore any rent credits area prohibited transaction unless you follow Rules 1 and 2 above.I used to do all kinds of financing.

Just about every contract out there prohibits the client from turning it off except in an emergency.

However, providing a personal guarantee to an IRA or a 401k is prohibited and your account may be deemed disqualified. 

What is more, you can also draw a fair salary with out running afoul with the prohibited transaction rules.

And some lenders do have policies prohibiting the purpose of the loan being to buy investment properties.

All I was saying was that Attorneys have to abide certain laws that prohibit them from giving client information without their prior written consent.
