Taxes unfortunately go with the house/property not typically with the owner.Normally when you are closing transactions at a title company, they will help you clean up any outstanding tax issues.

Let's say you have a 3+ year relationship with a customer with $1M+ in loans outstanding and they've never missed a payment. 

I have no outstanding debts outside of my current mortgage which is $156k Just refinanced with a 30 year.

Carpet is trashed, walls are damaged, doors ripped off hinges etc. security deposit covered rent but the rest is outstanding.

I do have a loan outstanding that as of now I am paying monthly out of pocket. 

@Anita Morrish the VA land board is an OUTSTANDING option for a land loan.
