To work around this, i removed several things from the scope of work...things such as exterior painting, exposing bricks, finishing the basement...reducing the cost of the rehab and leaving me with projects i could work on after the rehab is complete.

BUT ALSO at one point there was an open area for Machine maintenence where they kept some industrial cleaners , a few 50 gallon drums for Machine Lubricant purposes  and a rack for Propane tanks that were used on the tow motors .

If you lost track the total is 4 one-bedroom apartments and 1 two-bedroom apartment.Things that went great: 1.I gained experience framing, wiring, dry-walling, and plumbing, on five apartment units. 2.Several members of my family and I had a place to live for twenty years. 3.Maintaining the property over couple decades made me a better carpenter by exposing some minor things I could have built better the first time.
