Each of these towns have their own attractions and when combined together, it will take multiple visits to experience the entirety of what the Southern California High Desert has to offer and these neighboring towns are literally 5-10 minute drives from each other so to only talk about Joshua Tree with 5 restaurants is an inaccurate portrayal.

As @Steve Babiak says a new deed is not necessary in many cases, such as when the deed is titles as "Tenants by the Entirety" or "Joints Tenants with Rights of Survivorship."
