Keep colors in similar hues, etc.We've done similar CC&R's on a subdivision we developed, and we specified exteriors had to be stucco, roofs had to be of same quality, colors etc.

There’s nothing like keeping your customer in the dark.

It wouldn't be my first choice but I wouldn't be scared to live there(before and after dark) by any means.

Now I try to spend less time coloring outside the lines, and stick to what I'm best at when I'm stretching my capital.

I agree that most tenants have cell phones as a minimum - they usually have a smart phone from what I have seen in my area.Since you wondered what to do in case a landline is desired: If, as you say, the phone company's line does come to the house, then you should be able to identify a gray colored box where that wire terminates.
