And, while I have had 1 travel nurse so far, my 4 other renters have all been business professionals. 2 from outside the country, 2 from other states.

There are paths you can take with regulators to escalate, but being in the business myself, I generally view this as an option of last resort, and really it can only be done if you were flat out lied to and/or there is legitimate fraud taking place.

In my part of the country, it is not a viable business plan.

If you are looking to build quick capital and another full-time job, then flipping may be the answer...if you are looking for a slightly more passive approach and looking to build that long-term wealth, buy&hold'ing is maybe a better strategy.I've found introspecting on where I want to go long-term has helped clarify my short-term path...The beautiful part is Chicago offers all options at affordable prices general speaking compared to other metro areas.

Been in  business 10+ years and servicing properties all over the country. 

Before I advertise it I need to clear up some confusion so I can start on the right path.

I already live out in the country so cell service isn't great, but then they lost a number of cell towers and since internet was down just about everywhere, the cell towers were overloaded.

not wrong  just have to look at markets and market conditions.in many areas of the country building new just does not make sense when existing inventory can be bought for far less than replacement costs.. and rents wont change enough new vs old to compensate for it.
