Looking to purchase tax liens in cook county. 

I am currently looking at purchasing a lot that currently has 5 leases in an apx 16,000sqft facility (all 5 leases could expire by 2020, with the earliest being 11/2018 and the latest being 2020).

At $1.2MM, there better not be much public improvement, utility, or private facilities required.- For something small like this, you're gonna need someone local who's more of a boutique developer. 

These people typically look for retirement housing that allows them to visit mom and dad in nearby care facilities, and they're also worried about aging in place themselves because they have firsthand experience with the problems of noncompliant housing.As far as I can tell, astonishingly, no one else is doing this in rentals in Pittsburgh, despite the obvious demographics. 

I am looking at making an offer on a distressed storage unit facility.

Russell mentioned Areas in SE DC where I know that businesses (and a big government facility) are moving into and had a gut feeling that this could be the next popular area in the city (the next Navy yard).

It is similar to a cook at a popular restaurant buying meat, but cooking it on the company grills, using the waitresses to serve it out the back door to customer pulling up paying cash.

I am able to live cheap on the road; stay at a hotel with breakfast, pack lunch, cook in the room, and bunk with another guy.

Most likely, I will not be able to view the facility/area before I move in.

I am looking to buy a single family house that has an existing assisted living facility business occupying and operating out of the house.
