My wife volunteers with a non-profit organization that helps international refugees and immigrants learn English and assimilate into American culture. 

She was honest and upfront on this before I ran anything on her.

I ran a startup and there is no unemployment.  

At the age of 18 I moved to sunny San Diego where I completely fell in love with the culture, weather, and all things related to fitness.

I ran comps of properties within 1 mile that have sold within 6 months and two within one block currently for sale.  

Not one to take baby steps I am under contract to purchase three quad plexes from two different owners in Gainesville, FL using conventional mortgage financing.Everything was going perfectly until I ran into one small issue that I am not sure how to overcome except for postponing the closing.  

Since not only is it on the water but it's close to a bug city with all the culture offerings we don't have .Oh well plan b !

An issue I ran into a while back with financing smaller properties is that some of the local lenders I was trying to work with would not finance loans under 100K.

Our culture does not do a good job with educating people about the costs and work involved in housing others (and popular images are of greedy landlord and goofy ones like Mr Ferley and such from 3's Company). 

There's a big blogging/podcast culture around it.
