That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid while still attempting to use vinyl flooring.This wasn't an issue when they built the house in that the floors were wood, and they breathed...no different than the first line item in building code exceptions §1203.4.2 which states "where warranted by climatic conditions, ventilation openings to the outdoors are not required if ventilation openings to the interior are provided"....but we aren't talking about code here, we're talking about solutions to an existing problem without spending a ton of money.

Also, the deductibles I experienced were in the $5,000 range so a separate tool policy or inland marine endorsement may be appropriate if you supply some tools/materials but not enough to warrant filing a claim given the deductible.
