They may be able to point out issues for that property (zoning issues on a rebuild, quality of local schools, encroaching commercial development, etc.) that impact the long term value.I would also recommend running the property by an independent Insurance agent to see if there are any issues that will impact the insurability of the house (knob & tube wires, fuses, age of roof, in ground tank, tenant dog breed, pool, etc.).

My best advice would be to keep researching for more PM companies that are in your area and find which one seems to be the most local as they usually will put the most dedication/focus into their work for you since that area is their breeding ground.
