I also hired Dwyer company to get rid of the moisture, seal-paint the walls that are in direct contact with the ground and install a sump pump.Here is the question.Do I need to disclose to the new renter (Section 8) that in the past, mold was present in the basement?

Is it better to grind out all the caulk, repoint and seal it or just apply a thin coat of surface bonding cement to the entire chimney and seal it twice with a drylock masonry sealer?

You can also seal the walls with drywall compound and Spray on a knockdown or orange peal finish then paint it.

I always thought that once you find a seller and buyer put it under contract seal the deal and close you'll fine..but Am I wrong?
