My mentor / business partner who is showing me the ropes in RE is starting his own property management business after being in the real estate game for 13 years.He is offering me a job in said property management business as an on-call maintenance person, and also said he can pay me to do yellow letters for him (I currently send out a lot of them for my own investing purposes).He said he can either pay me for each letter, or a 10-15% commission on income from any leads I generate (so if I land him a property that he makes $150/mo on, I would make $15-$22.50/mo on each property. 20 properties = $300-$450 / mo total).Either way, he will pay for all the material and postage- so I'll just be taking care of the rest (printing, packing, sending).

Our court case is now set for early February.Is posting the unit for rent on Craigslist sufficient to show an effort to mitigate damages or do I have to spend money on a print news media?

I printed the instruction book online (seller didnt leave it for us) and am going to walk through it and check the troubleshooting steps too.

Why don't you just keep it as a rental, and let it keep on printing money for you?

I remember one fee from a couple years ago that I still can't get out of my head, called an 'upload fee', wow, what was that all about.The latest was $75 for "Seller's Package - Printing".

You can print a guess pass to attend two meetings for free.

A two story house with the same foot print is not going to be worth double the value of a ranch.Lot size generally has little effect on price, in my experience.Condition and finishes make a big difference, too.
