The lender seems to believe that the only rent by the room strategy that exists is renting rooms to college students and his quote to me was "more people, more leases, more problems".What do I know?? 

I’ve looked through the forums and but several of the listed banks previously suggested no longer offer them.

I have a background in technology and real estate (I was a previous VC-backed technology company founder), so I am very tech-friendly, and I like to adopt solutions that streamline workflow/enable best practices. 

I have two 403b accounts from previous employers and am interested in using this money for a down payment on a property. 

I grew up learning maintenance on properties my parents and grandparents had in Akron, then started buying my own after college.  35 years later, been full time for the last five years or so.  

With that said and depending on how rural it is you may be able to put gravel down and put a fence up and have RV and Boat storage.

What happened was our previous PM handed over their business to a new PM who lives 90 minutes away (previous PM was local).

Any decent Contractor can generally buy products for much less than you anyway, and even if you find a special deal on, let's say, Doors and Windows...who is going to take charge of delivery, unloading, storage, security, warranty and all that?

You will lose the previous listing and be starting over.
