Gatlinburg is nice. 

It was carried out through zoom so it was very convenient- The employee that I had a meeting with was really professional and nice.

What a nice way to show us we could buy the 25k course...great manipulation.The next 2 hours were some BS information about real estate that any fool could find on the internet in 2 minutes.

Looking forward to my visit in a couple weeks as we continue our research for an STR in the area. 

I don’t personally know anyone in these areas, nor have I lived there, but I’m open to visiting to get a better feel for the markets and make connections.

In desperation, I even visited their office in person, only to have my concerns dismissed and another empty message taken.

I want to be somewhat hands on so I would pick markets that are driveable for you and visit frequently.

If you do a 1031 exchange, you can defer both the capital gains tax and the depreciation recapture, which is a nice benefit.
