@Lori F., Form 8824 of your 2014 tax return carries forward your basis and resets whatever depreciation needs to be reset.

  ( new construction)  My GC worked yesterday on our new build at 20 F st.. he said the town was abandoned and he got a lot done.. we had three under construction and got them boarded and secured.. but turned out not really needed don't know about high tide though..

I recommend setting up keyword alerts for your area so you can start engaging with conversations in the forum that center on those neighborhoods - that can be a great way to connect with like minded folks pretty quickly.Also, f you haven't subscribed to the Bigger Pockets podcast yet, I can't recommend it highly enough.

But looking at 2 bedroom properties for sale within the same area (as in about roughly 3km radius), what I see are these numbers (F - floor size, L - lot size):F: 90, L: 100 - $42,537F: 94, L: 91 - $55,537F: 72, L: 120 - $33,290F: 80, L: 80 - $51,000F: 84, L: 63 - $48,000And so on..

All we have are local listings of the selling price of brand new properties (mostly).For example, I am looking at this property:Selling Price: $22,193Floor size: 100 sqmLot size: 70 sqmNo. of Bedrooms: 2Toilet&Bath: 1Car Garage: 1Now, in the same area (about 3km radius), 2-bedroom SFHs are selling for (F - floor size, L - lot size in sqm):F: 90, L: 100 - $42,537F: 94, L: 91 - $55,537F: 72, L: 120 - $33,290F: 80, L: 80 - $51,000F: 84, L: 63 - $48,000However, these are brand new.
