We finance large apartment buildings throughout New England and I'm located about 30 minutes north of Boston, so I'm pretty familiar with the market.

I'm moving from New England to TX and its down to these two cities and their suburbs.

I'm new around here :)My wife and I are getting ready to make our first purchase but we're torn between our two ideas... but also wondering if it's possible to do both in the same year.We're moving up to New England from NYC this summer and have been weighing our town/city options.

A little bit about me:I completed my BSc in Real Estate Management & Business in 2014 in England, and 2 years later I moved to California, currently working as an Assistant Commercial Property Manager.

Close to highway and a city in New England. 

My wife and I are looking to buy a primary residence in New England and a vacation property in Joshua Tree at same time.

We were stationed in England for 16 years with the US Air Force, and watched solar panels go up on bungalows all around us. 

The first one we bought while stationed in England, and we sold it when moved back to the US.  

It has worked for us to improve houses over time, and then keep them and sometimes sell them...such as the two properties we bought an renovated while stationed in England.
