Some of our properties away from the beach perform better when there are good amount of amenities available, like a large lazy river, tennis courts, access passes to local golf courses are a big attraction for guests. 

It may require court action on current holder but really that isn't any big deal.

The sole remedy of the lender is the property.Now take the rest of the states and Texas in particular Mississippi for sure.. and you can foreclose get the asset then sue in court in a different action for a deficiency judgment and get a judgment against the home owner.. this is used when there Is in sufficient equity to protect the lender..

I have no need for the rent collection or tenant screening as this is a function my property manager does for me. 

Again, I'd focus on salvaging your relationship or at least staying out of court. 

But a through search back 30 years in County Clerk and District Court records in given area should uncover anything else.
