Dustin Palls Found a Fannie property I want, possible"Meth Lab"
15 August 2016 | 20 replies
I'm pretty sure I could research and find the correct/safe/legal (as you all seem to put it) manner in which to remove/dispose of these potentially hazardous materials along with the right chemical/cleaning agent to pressure wash any meth residue from the structure's skeleton...With all that said, it doesn't seem like much fun and I think I will pass on this deal, and by the way I would be giving the same advice as everyone here if some anonymous "investor" asked about this online... so I appreciate the words of wisdom. The thing that isn't clear to me is: would I, or would I not be breaking the law by continuing with my "plan"?

Planning is great - I never was good at that - words are easy to put down on paper - other people's ideas are fun to experiment with and can make someone new in this business feel good for awhile I guess.Over 40 years ago I can recall as if it were yesterday - I was where many of the new folks on this site are today - I was motivated to make money in real estate - had a giant desire to create a little success (the low pay awful job I had, and a jerk for a boss just wasn't cutting it  - but I had motivation - i discovered quickly that it takes more than motivation to pay the bills. So this one seminar I took the guru said "set a goal, build your team and find a mentor".OK - I set a goal to get rich in real estate - to buy one house a month and to quit my job.

Do this for a few months – you may want to take a real estate course to get your license – Attend REIA's – BUT do not trust the sales pitches you will hear – I don’t think you should spend your money on those programs – if you want to spend some money – get a mentor –The candidate for your mentor should be financial successful – in many phases of making money in real estate; auctions, tax sales, lead generations, contract engineering, assignments as well as the many creative clauses’ used to buy real estate.I think you will do well – take it slow and easy – don’t be influenced by big talkers – counsel with spouse – create credit lines – be ready with a form packets of contracts – assignment forms – notes – disclosures and blank checks – study and learn from others ------ AND HAVE FUN – your journey to a better income and more of what you want out of life is exciting and profitable.
