Maybe it was God hand or just plain dumb luck, but with some “weekend warrior” rehab work I was able to force equity and increase my net worth at a small scale.

I have a good friend, purple heart recipient who happened to be gifted a free home for wounded warriors in Orange County.

And also consider a market that can support major sports teams that have a loyal following, like a hockey team, basketball team, football team, tourist attractions like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I played basketball at least once a week.

Think PNC Arena (Carolina Hurricanes, NCSU basketball, concerts, etc.)

Ive heard good things about Sacramento too...If I hadn't trashed my knees playing basketball, I'd come run for dollars sometime. :)

The Golden State Warriors are playing some good ball right now but let's be real, Cleveland is taking home the title this year.

People are on vacation, they are having fun, they aren't thinking about the neighbor who has to get up to work the next morning, or the senior who want's to hear the birds in the morning, not a basketball at 7am or the crew arriving home at midnight.   

I fall in the category of a grumpy old man that after years as a road warrior I am just starting  real estate investing.
