I have found that Redfin actually has pretty good search parameters to where you can look for listings that have been sitting a while that fit your buy box, and you can even do keyword searches for things like "as is", "investor", "seller financing", "guest house", etc. depending on what you are looking for.

This means that if a third party researches the owner of a specific property, they will only find the parent LLC, which is held by the WY LLC. 

@Terrence StarkTypically the contract to buy the new house would specify that the builder/seller would deliver the type of plans you are referencing.

Whether that's through house hacking or just another set of units I hold, I plan to purchase again this year. if there are tips on how to build a trusted network of people on here, I would welcome that.

The vast majority of your wealth gain in real estate will be by holding properties long term and the appreciation/principal paydown will slowly but surely help you become wealthy.For 90% plus of people out there who are looking to start, house hacking is the best way to go.

Do you plan on renting out your current house or house hacking it? 

I have considered it but I keep things at a flat rate for the exact reasons you stated.I want people to get the exact price when they stay at our lake house.
