We are thinking for multiple families gathering, bridal showers, vacations, hunting season lodging, photography sessions and business/networking gatherings.  

As a kid my dad took me to lodges for ice fishing often.Need a nice warm bed after a cold day on the ice!

For example, during the winter are there a lot of lodging options, restaurants, and events either at the base of the resort or relatively close by?

Do people commute often between the two cities (or from Deer Lodge)?

yeah I've been using craigslist to advertise but would like to get some contacts at these companies that handle lodging.

I think another really cool business that would do well on 80 acres up north would be a bunch of small hunting/fishing lodges for rentals, and if you became a hunting/fishing guide that could be another income stream.
