They had a cleaning lady and manager helping run the whole thing while they lived in France.

He said he doubts that a metal junking place would want to take the risk that there's a full cartridge amid the thousands of empty ones because they can be explosive (you can also apparently lose a finger or your face  to frostbite while using it, if you're not careful). 

I think I’m going under contract on 3 more of them today (fingers crossed) and will most likely buy them the same way.

I told them I felt those jobs were awfully tentative and Mother-in-law/neighbor "MIL" lady insisted that the jobs were a "career" that the DIL had been working at in her former location.
