I plan on splitting this land into two 1.5 acre lots as there is enough road frontage, but I'm concerned that someone could show up and want to start drilling in the backyard.I think someone wanting to drill is unlikely for the following reasons:- the original owners are probably dead and the ownership is split between inheritance to multiple people- the lot is too small for them to mess with- there is only a single active well/pump within 30 miles from what I can see online.

Is anyone else interested in this?

Hi John- they seem to be in a tough spot related to the Synapse Financial bankruptcy- they've essentially suspended operations and are trying to sort through the mess.

I just add the spreadsheet we use as a sample to see if this makes sense....Would love to hear your opinions on how much money are we making for everyone else, before we make 20kI would search out for another deal, reduce the rehab (get multiple quotes) or for example I am doing a flip right now we took out redoing all the windows which saves us about 8K...

Do I go to the city/county or something else? 

I’m very clear about that with everyone up front and my reason for turning someone down is almost always that they don’t meet my acceptance criteria or that someone else who met my acceptance criteria completed the entire application process first.

It could be real and if so, you acted on it when you knew about it so I don't know how anything else could be expected, but liability is a different story.

And to any wondering, no, I don't loose a wink of sleep over using legal tax strategies. yes, I think those who can utilize it have earned it and don't owe a thing to anyone else.
