I used to listen to Bruce Williams on the radio and that was the reason he used to stress having your own attorney on all RE transactions, since you were signing so many documents, EVERY ONE OF WHICH HAD BEEN PREPARED BY AN ATTORNEY.I once closed a house that I was seller financing and the buyer insisted on having their attorney prepare the documents, I'm not sure I was doing my own document preparation yet at that point, and I said OK.
