Hey Hey @Veronica Mitchell - The most simple advice is to follow the CTA trainlines.I personally love the South East Corridor of Chicago which has Bronzesville, Kenwood, Washington Park, Hyde Park, Woodlawn, and South Shore.That area will continue to be gentrified because you have the lakefront and CTA trains.Others mentioned NW along the Blue and West along the Pink, Green, and Blue lines.

I've walked their properties in-person, and their build quality is good.

It's important to understand that a person can sue another person, but that doesn't constitute a judgment.

Does anyone know stats on this or have personal experience in this region?

To flip right is about a lot more than just renovating and *pow* $-rains down on a person.

@Camille Romerounless you are able to spend some significant time in your chosen location in person, and work on building a network there, i would pick a market closer to NYC, within a couple hours.  

You must have your personal finances in order before you invest.

What if the person staying at your place signed a contract but their 1st payment check bounced.
