My first house was in suburban Prairie Village, KS and it had a basement.

Certainly it looks like there is a lot to learn here.Also I almost forgot to mention, I am currently living in New York's East Village, but planning on moving back to Greenwich, CT in a few months (back with my parents) while I work on my new platform.

Ocala doesn't have the big, steady employment base of the big Florida cities, which is a negative, but does have a few growing industries, growing retirement base, the Villages is close by, etc. 

It is in a weird middle of nowhere expat village with good surf.

So the box Vinyl Village type homes is the current build (mixed in with townhomes, duplexes, quads).

I am not familiar with it enough to know well enough of the top of my head besides the village of Sloan where I have some family. 

I'm in Ukrainian Village and got most of my property tax increase reversed upon contesting it.  

Don't try and save the $300.TRY and get the village/building zoning dept out there to see if there are any issues that you'll need to correct.  

We met at the BP Meetup last month at the U-Village Ram restaurant.Lending tends to be pretty low-risk, unless you're doing something shady or stupid; just make sure to do your research on the deal and the borrower and watch your LTVs.
