I was aware that insurance would mostly not cover but how does a landlord safe guard here ?.

We have a 4 year old daughter, so some of our creative options are limited in order to keep her safe. 

While this is being promoted as a safe way to get into real estate by some experts or gurus, there is no way to secure your loan with real estate when the money is used as a deposit before the purchase is closed.

This sort of ruins the appeal if you have more funds you want to safely earn interest on. 

They are C-class properties, but they are safe (by my definition) and they cash flow. 

They did not seem safe of code compliant. 

It's safe to assume this problem will only get worse.

Also want to be sure that it is a town that is safe for families and younger couples since we would be house hacking and having tenants living beside us.

I should have mentioned to that I would do this approach with a property that is in a good neighborhood with very above average school system and safe, desirable community.

Is there any way I can find them before buying the property so I will be in safe hands??
