Install one of their deadbolt locks, then when a tenant inquires about a property they will simply reach out to the owner and the owner can dish out a temporary code from their phone!

It is a whole different level of rage when a family reunion rents out your house for 2 days and ruins 1 year old carpet, smashes have the dishes, and breaks the door off a cabinet (I speak from experience).After experiencing the industry, I find that people do far better when they think of it like buying a small business more than like a typical rental.

By the end of that weekend, we had 3 bookings.Our first booking gave us a great public review, and also sent an email saying that they did love our place and love all the extras we put in there (beach toys, cooler, cart, sandwich bags, foil, etc.) but also that our brand new floors didn't feel that clean, coffee pot had some coffee marks and dishes were left in dishwasher previously.
