I would rent or sell that condo and buy a duplex in a class A or B location in KC.

look for land with owner financing And I am sure you know this but location and safety will be paramount in the Jackson market there are simply areas the crime is far to high for this to be successful..

May be the wrong properties or in the wrong location.

@Aristotle Kumpis I agree I want locations that are growing more in population and job growth. 

Your niche depends on location and amenities you offer.

So I bought a cheap single-family rental in a C location.
