Its just kind of the nature of the beast and investing were over 50% of all homes are rentals its a different lifestyle than what we are used to at least on the west coast were maybe 10% of SFR's are rentals  renters rent apartments.

For US government purposes, our legal residence is a family member's home where we stay when we are in the US.Thanks for the DSCR info.

I know if I do not rent to students, we will not get even close to the type of rent we are looking for, but paying the mortgage with no rent is hard on my family and I.

Even brokers in a rush to make quick money sometimes partner with unethical lenders, further perpetuating these issues.In real estate investment, we are all part of a larger team.

My partners and I (3 of us) are based in Miami FL (not the easiest market at the moment) we are all realtors / brokers and investors, each have 20+ years of experience down here, have done multiple ground up single Family and duplex builds and currently have a portfolio of single fam and duplex properties.

But, we now live across the country and managing from this far just doesn't make sense for us anymore so we are ready to sell.

My partner and I are very interested in single family homes, As we enter into a volatile real estate market we are focused on families and creating wealth through selling affordable homes.
