I've indeed enjoyed interacting with you in the forums before and I always like to read your contributions and I really like what you do.When somebody writes something that is factually incorrect or something that could be misinterpreted, it is always delicate to set the record straight without offending the person and I hate contradicting and offending.

Therefore, they're going to have to address these issues at some point ... they might as well handle it with you and close the deal sooner rather than later.That said, it sounds as though you're in a rather delicate situation. 

I finish the repairs with 6 in. fiberglass tape, usually sold as "wall repair fabric," and multiple coats of mud.

There's really no delicate way to say this, except to stress that I am getting many, many more times the things done than he is getting done.

Pertinent skills include:  HVAC (refrigeration licensed), plumbing, electrical, mild construction, metal fabrication, soon to be licensed NC contractor, grading/excavating, ...etc...I do/know alot of stuff and have alot of tools and equipment...I wouldn't bring you any headaches.  

Also I have some suspicions about the email, from talking to this guy I got the impression that it is possible he fmay have fabricated it to try and get me to bite on a higher price.

I figured these numbers were fabricated, so I ran my purchase multiples at lower rates.

That's when I learned about and explored the opportunity of pre-fabricated new construction.

I've tried to be delicate with the few who have asked, like, "the grass could've been a little long or maybe I just like the house."

It's always that delicate middle ground balance between avoiding the complete idiots who do terrible work, and not being able to afford the top quality contractors who would charge too much to make the deal profitable for us.
