Do you draw any hard lines in the "Year Constructed" sand? 

Construction skills, loan skills, financing skills, legal understanding, real estate transaction skills, etc all greatly help.Personally I wouldn't deal with someone that has no money, lacks experience, or some kind of resources. 

I saw some red flags and some complaints about how they handled some construction with asbestos in the house.

The home was new construction and the builder needed to offload it to recoup funds and pay workers, so I got it at a small discount.

They can be a bit on the pricey side and they can be selective on the development/construction side, but overall, they're solid.

I reached out to an insurance broker today and he had indicated that we would need a constructions insurance policy for the renovation phase of the project.

Anyone know of a good areas for new construction, hoping to keep price point under $200k for 3/2/2 SFR. buy and hold. thanks in advance for any insights into this market.

I met with the contractor Sanborn Construction Group but being out of state wanted to see if anyone had worked with them in the past and could give a refferal good or bad.
