A giver scrolls the forums however they can, reads up, and uses that back-knowledge to ask a good question, thereby getting better answers.

I would scroll through these posts.

So I am new to real estate investing and when I’m searching for properties on Zillow ,or any similar site, I find myself scrolling past the Auction/Foreclosure homes, or not including them in my search at all, because I don’t know enough about them.

Log into Loopnet.com, click on a multifamily listing, open the OM, scroll to the bottom and find the Listing agents name.

Until you've mastered your local area and the up-and-coming spots around it, what kind of mentorship sends you to sit at your computer and scroll through lists online of what's good.

I thought this was an awesome idea, as automated alerts can provide a deal to look at while I'm waiting in line at the store or, ahem, dropping the kids off at the pool, as opposed to mindlessly scrolling through Facebook or Pintrest looking at that neat shelf I'll never build or my friends' latest rants about their opinions.
