I like Yelp, bigger pockets, and word of mouth but we met our painter at Home Depot and he’s amazing.

Hello all,I've been in the Charlotte area for about a year and a few months now and I'm looking for great painters and plumbers.

I am looking for a painter to do the interior of a 3 level townhome as well as stain the all wood exterior.

I called my painter friend and he told me to  spray everything 3 ft down with bleach water to take our time and special attention to the door jambs .

I learned several important lessons....Be prepared to get it cleaner before allowing a painter to enter or adding any new flooring.

I've been told that Westmoreland County is a decent place to start looking, specifically New Kensington.

I would go the contractor route for bigger jobs and looks for a local handyman or drywall/painter to knock it out. 

A GC will also generally take over fixing any subs mistakes that arise after the fact.Hiring subs yourself can save you a lot of money, but if your tile work is shoddy and the painter can't do their job because of it, you could have a hard time getting the tiler back on site.
