But get ready for culture shock down here. 

Helping my children to see the world, teaching my kids about other/different cultures and ensuring that my kids absolutely recognize how fortunate they are when they're in their little suburban bubble means they will more likely grow up appreciating diversity and having empathy for others -- two things we don't have enough of in this world (or at least not in this country). 

I see that same culture being built here and it begins with the community.

And if it's Miami, a lot of the wheels there expect to be greased...just the culture there.

I agree with Bruce M. regarding the NSDREIA, it's a great culture with like minded investors.

If you are after more of the corp. culture then the big names are great for that and training.

I love getting a peek into different cultures and it is always cool to see how much we all have in common.

I just relocated to the Philly area from MId-Hudson Valley in New York and I'm really energized over new construction in the city, fine dining, cultural attractions, sports, charm, beauty (love Fairmont Park) -- it's so encouraging so see. 

I've know whole local cultures of people who think like this, though PC-ness prevents me from naming names.
