Owner is a divorced female stuck with two mortgages and selling this particular home for 26k (how neighbor knows this is beyond me) in a neighborhood where all other homes are appraised at 70k or more.

The female has no red flags and makes decent income, but I don't want to rent to them due the males past.

That something that i have to still get over which is emotions in making an offer: im a female so im emotional by creation.

Because of the number of people who plunked down $25,000 each, and the software and LLC upsales, I'd say that these scammers made off with a minimum of $750,000.Before leaving, I found myself in the ladies room with their only female coach (whom I didn't have any interaction with prior).

The unit we lived in was owned by an Asian family who came here and used it once a year, till they sold it to our current landlord. 

As a woman looking to start out in REI I want to know what's the biggest draw back, if there is any, to being a female in this business.

I worry that the seasoned contractors may have less respect for what I am doing as a female, and that I could be a target for rip off or shoddy work.
