Did a neighbor or the neighborhood worry them?

I got a notice saying "Don't worry, your payments will automatically be transferred to us", however my bank didn't recognize the new servicer's info and the payment didn't go through, making us late and again dinging our credit and triggering late fees. 

We also offered to help them find new housing, relocate them for free and help in any other way we could.

agree .. other wise its just the bottom feeders looking to take his equity from him  with couching it as a rescue.. his best bet it to sell if its owner occ the profit is tax free .. regroup and start over..
