Everyone in the REI community always seem to have extremely high standards for the tenants they choose - good credit, no criminal history, on time rent, absolutely 0 evictions, etc.

You can easily see their eviction records and most criminal activities through FREE online resources just google it and you will find it for your state.

If they don't have a Social Security number you will not be able to do a US credit check.Generally, most people that legally travel to the US don't want jeopardize that privilege by being evicted or having a criminal record, I believe both can/will get your visa revoked.
