Like the Compass slogan says, we are helping people literally "find their place in the world".

And if necessary I will be able to afford the humanity and compassion involved in waiting for a tenant to get back on their feet.

Geographical location (high virus infection rate/low virus infection rate), did the majority of their tenants have essential jobs with no loss of income or vise versa, were the tenants that didn't pay have issues paying rent prior to Covid-19, did the landlord not show enough compassion or did they show too much compassion, was there a lack of communication, etc.  

Compassion...decisions affecting others, being a difference maker!

There should absolutely be compassion in the handling of the situation, but just because someone is old and has lived in a property for a long time doesn't mean they get to dictate when they leave.  

In full disclosure, I have never really spent much time looking at RLGY or RMAX, but in the wake of disappointing results recently and significant drops in their share prices, I am curious on either the long or short side from a fundamental long term perspective, but its possible perhaps there is simply "nothing to do".On one hand, I am wondering what impact new entrants like Compass (and Redfin at the opposite end of the spectrum) are having on the large brand realtors in the eyes of brokers and agents.
