For about $10, you can get a programmable lockbox that does not require an internet connection or batteries.

Then, you have the cost for insurance, registration and normal maintenance e.g. batteries that often cost up to $200 these days.

Seems like regular wear.Get the sealed smoke alarms that are good for ten years and can’t have the batteries removed.

If you don't know there isn't much going on there except for a small private college, and a small battery factory, it's a dorment market in my opinion.... the point is they were clearing 5k a month in net cash flow.

However, if you're the self-managing owner and landlord of a property, you control if any part of the water supply piping is changed, and you can periodically test your outlets when you change your batteries in the smoke/CO detectors every year.

@Brandon Turner, that's one heck of a battery life ;) I called the electric company.

Change the batteries once a year so far.

Batteries last about 6 months. 

They are building a battery factory not far from here that will employ over 2,000 people and we are all wondering were the workers will be "transplanted" from.Thanks for the feed back.
