We have done a few dozen conversions from oil or natural gas boilers/furnaces to electric baseboard heat.Some tenants think it will be more expensive to heat (we are in PA), however, we always tell them true about our experiences:Electric baseboard can be controlled in each room with it's own thermostat

They said that they weren't going to fix anything because it was noted in the inspection report (minus the missing thermostat which they will replace), and they were unsure of where the deposit is.So I obviously feel like I'm getting screwed over on this.

Regardless, the thermostat being downstairs is difficult because the cooling setpoint will be reached downstairs much faster than the upstairs resulting in that being hotter all of the time.
