I also assumed that since it was crowdsourced flip that the company putting it on would do absolutely everything to return investment to the funders, as a bad property at the beginning is going to sink them.We also know that this is a secondary tactics, and not the primary one.

I don't agree with the selling tactics of that company; for example, they PURPOSELY discourage networking at the event, and they use intimidation and talk-down on people to get you to sign up for their courses.
