It's a function of our culture Allen.  

With that though a bit of culture gets lost along the way.

If you had something repetitive to do they'd be great, and there are some people over there with real skills that will work for peanuts, but there is a culture barrier and time difference.  

It isn't exactly a bastion of culture, cuisine, and parks though, which are 3 of the most important factors to me.

The training is comprehensive but even better, the culture is unbelievable.

Nice app, easy to use once you set up templates and I like the company culture. 

I'll throw one more possibility onto the list:Some come from a societal background where renting is the norm.The cultural push toward home ownership we experience in North America is not universal.  

You will love Washington, and if your really love the culture and the outdoors, you will not come back to the Midwest.  

I look at job growth, population growth, rental culture etc.

As I was making progress, the time I was putting towards my RE endeavor became dearer than my hourly job rate - so I asked for a raise knowing it'll be better off for them to keep me at the company yet I was prepared to be fired.Bottom line, it really depends on the culture of your company and the people you're working with; I got referrals, referred peers to my realtor, got a (60%) raise, and even a request for a future JV.
