The rest of my properties are in the Midwest but I do have partners in cities (outside of Cincy) where I have my properties.Having said that, I understand Boston is quite expensive.Option #1: is to invest in areas, say 1 hour away from Boston and hopefully not as expensive as Boston. 1 hour is close enough that you can still monitor your investment but not too far that you waste so much time on travel.And yes, with the technology nowadays you can monitor your properties from a distance.

It was getting late so I called the local tax office before they closed to ask them if they knew anything and they said a business bought the 2016 taxes on the property, and they said most likely it was in Nov 17 when it was sold for 2000 and we have 18 months to redeem them.

@Chao Liu with today’s technology agents are not needed.If you don’t have time or are have to many units to do it yourself they can be useful but... they will not do a better job than you and in most cases don’t have better marketing techniques to reach more people.
