I have designed, built, and own (very) small scale (500kW) solar farms and in my world, I learned to always look for the word 'exemption' to make sure I'm not wandering in territory that will cripple me financially.

Overall, I learned there are many aspect sand parts in a Flip: from Realtor, City Inspector, City Code, Contractor, Designer etc.

I prefer someone holding the CRE designation to perform the study, although MAI designees are usually also qualified.

You can't go off of the cost estimate on permits and even beyond that, design, site work and a number of other factors will play a significant role in costs.

Purchased, rehabbed, designed, and furnished 5 bed 3 bath in AZ completely remotely.

This certainly isn’t designed to be all-encompassing but maybe with some good luck and hard work you will have a great partner for years to come.
