I live on the north-end of Atlanta but do most of my investing inside the city-perimeter.

I am going to go walk the entire perimeter of the property on Sunday and would appreciate any tips on what I should be looking for.Thank You.

The population tends to be long term (fewer turnovers) We would classify these as class C neighbourhoods:  very good rental income for the price of the asset(s), but do not anticipate any appreciation.The lost/perimeter neighbourhood - I cannot think of an appropriate label for this type of neighbourhood (basically it is neither blue collar nor a war zone).  

The inspector came to the conclusion that this is most likely due to the perimeter of the home being sloped in.

But if it runs along a perimeter, or wouldn't interfere with development, it's fairly common and shouldn't devalue your property.

Most banks consider a block outer perimeter sufficient with piers underneath.  

Best to set strong perimeters now with her - you will likely see a lot more of this to come. 

I am still trying to learn about the areas in and around the perimeter myself.

Depending on your criteria, you might choose different areas inside or outside of the perimeter.  

I live in the country, have a video system , for perimeter recording, and a alarm system on my house with panic buttons.
