As for active listings, the only things I have to go off of at the moment are the Student housing prices per semester at the University, and one luxury apartment complex that has a 2 bed 2 bath asking for about $3,160 (includes 24 hour fitness center, monthly catered Resident Receptions, health and wellness programs, and a resort-style pool.

However, this hasn't exactly kept STR investors from thriving there without any apparent threat by city government.

I enjoy my job, it pays well, provides us with retirement and health benefits, as well as stability for our family.

The health of the economy is arguable, the validity of previously used indicators is arguable.  

This was a block of land my Father in law purchased 50 years ago, built the apartments on some of the land and had plans for developing the rest until health issues got in the way.

How do you look up homes that become vacant here in Norfolk the city of Norfolk department of public health - Bureau of environmental health will put a notice of violation on your door if your home is unfit to live in or not kept up with so shouldn’t there be public records on this info?
