Being an out-of-state investor Turnkey is an excellent pathway to building a diverse alternative investment class, within your retirement portfolio.  

Great learning experience but hard way to learn that people and culture is everything.

Multifamily properties are highly desired among conduit lenders who need a diverse mix of property types for their loan pools, but CMBS loans currently account for only approximately 7% of outstanding multifamily debt according to the MBA.

Any place in Texas will do good as long as it is diverse and has a growing population.  

However, I'm looking a bit ahead when I will have access to rollover IRA assets that might be employed in a passive income scenario while also providing overall diversity to my entire retirement program.

To me, that is one of the main benefits, along with that there are major universities, a very diverse range of industries (alot of Oil/Gas too though) suburbs that are booming now and have been for a very long time.

I hope to learn how to have a successful, diverse and large portfolio so that one day I will not have to depend on working 9-5 to put food on the table.

Race and more importantly culture are essential to building communication, when people pretend it isn't they are missing out on valuable texture and content.

We do not like the busier islands like Thomas and John and some people do not either, so are creating a niche market to attract individuals that are not coming for tourism, but to be more embraced with the local culture and get away from the tourism heavy/city environments.Our vacation home will be done in 5 month, PM if you would like to come stay and see what is going on in STX.
