Yea, it sucks, but I just purchased a beautiful foreclosure in Cleveland Heights for $87k that will rent for $1500.

Any information on Dallas, or any input from investors from Dallas whether you are an out of state investor or live in the Dallas area would be appreciated, I would love to start a thread regarding this topic in the BP community.Namely, I am struggling to gather what I can confidently claim as reputable data on property management companies, and every real estate agent I call understandably pitches me on the influx of quality tenants in their respective area emphasizes the beauty of Dallas and their listed properties.

I see a beautiful boutique Hotel where I live that is for sale but is sitting empty while on the market. 

I've owned property in Texas and Michigan (btw, I've been to your beautiful city and have family in Maine).During the 2008 crash, I liquidated, did some other stuff, then went to law school. 

It's in a great location, and is really a beautiful property but has just been neglected for some time.

I remember looking at a beautifully renovated  duplex on Zillow in Atlanta the other day, with backsplash, new appliances, flooring, etc. but the area was iffy!

I realize there are all sorts of investment types and goals out there, but the beauty of multi-family investments is in the economies of scale.  

So we are just finishing up a beautiful house right now.
